Why choose Estudio Aequus
We are a physiotherapy clinic in Mallorca that was born with a very clear vocation: to take care of people through an honest, rigorous and patient-centered physiotherapy.
Since our beginnings, Estudio Aequus has been built on clinical experience, constant learning and commitment to health, accompanying patients with musculoskeletal pathologies and functional recovery processes, always from an individualized and responsible approach.
This trajectory has allowed us to consolidate a way of working based on the combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation, applied with clinical criteria, scientific evidence and real adaptation to each patient. Our goal has always been to offer safe, effective and quality treatments.
Today, Estudio Aequus is the result of a history of commitment, dedication and professionalism. We take care of both the therapeutic process and the environment, creating a space designed to promote trust, continuity and lasting recovery.

Experts in taking care of your health
Who is physical therapy for?
Physiotherapy is designed for you if you feel pain, have suffered an injury or want to recover your mobility and well-being in your daily life. In Estudio Aequus, as a physiotherapy clinic in Mallorca, we accompany you with a personalized and close approach.
It is also for you if you practice sports on a regular basis, both at amateur and competitive level, and you want to prevent injuries or return to training safely. We work to help you take care of your body before, during and after exercise.
If you are dragging discomfort that seems small, don’t let it go. Many times, a timely intervention prevents them from becoming more serious or chronic problems. In addition, we treat recovery processes after surgery or overload.
In our clinic we evaluate each case individually and design treatments tailored to your needs. Our goal is that you recover your functionality, improve your quality of life and can move again with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I see a physical therapist?
You should come to physiotherapy when you feel pain, persistent discomfort or loss of mobility that does not improve over the days or recur frequently. We are talking about back pain, neck, shoulder, knee, sprains, overloads, sports injuries, discomfort during pregnancy or postpartum, as well as pelvic floor symptoms.
The sooner we assess your case, the faster and more effective the recovery is usually, avoiding the problem to become chronic. You can also go preventively, even if you do not have pain, to improve your posture, your strength and your daily or sports performance.
What differentiates Estudio Aequus from other physiotherapy clinics in Mallorca?
At Estudio Aequus we combine evidence-based physiotherapy, advanced technology and our own work method that allows us to go beyond the occasional treatment of pain. We perform a thorough assessment, define your goals and design a plan that combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement education and techniques such as Indiba, dry needling or radiofrequency when they add value.
We do not work with generic protocols: we adapt each session to your case, your lifestyle and your real needs, accompanying you in a clear and results-oriented process.
How many sessions do I need to see results?
The number of sessions depends on your injury, the time of evolution and your involvement. Many patients notice improvements from the first or second session: less pain, more mobility or greater body control.
For simple acute problems, a few sessions may be sufficient; in chronic or complex cases (herniated disc, prolonged shoulder injuries, pelvic floor), we usually recommend a more progressive plan. After the initial assessment, we clearly explain a rough estimate of sessions and frequency, so you know what to expect from the beginning.
How long does a physical therapy session last at Estudio Aequus?
Our sessions have a duration of 45 to 60 minutes, enough time to evaluate your evolution, treat the area and work with you in an active way.
This duration allows us to combine interview, physical examination, manual therapy and guided therapeutic exercise, ensuring individualized and effective care. We are committed to complete and quality sessions, avoiding the model of short appointments where it is not possible to deepen the treatment.
How much does a physical therapy session cost?
We work on a per session basis and, in many cases, we offer vouchers or packs to facilitate the continuity of treatment when necessary. Prices may vary depending on the type of treatment (pelvic floor, invasive, sports, etc.), so we keep the information always updated in our Rates section .
In the first contact we will guide you on the total estimated price according to the recommended number of sessions. Our goal is that you have transparency and clarity, without surprises.
Do you work with mutual or health insurance companies?
We currently work mainly privately, which allows us to offer complete sessions, with the time and techniques you need. If you have insurance with reimbursement, we provide you with the detailed invoice so that you can submit it and recover the part covered by your policy.
If you are not sure if your insurance includes this option, we can guide you or help you review the information before starting treatment.
Do I need a medical referral to come to Estudio Aequus?
You do not need a medical referral to make an appointment with us. You can come directly if you have pain, discomfort, a recent injury, pelvic floor symptoms or any limitation. We perform a complete assessment in the first session and, if we detect something that requires the opinion of another professional, we will explain it to you clearly.
If you have medical reports, imaging tests or previous studies, you can bring them to have a more complete view of your case.
What kind of injuries do we treat at Estudio Aequus?
We treat a wide variety of problems: musculoskeletal pain (cervical pain, low back pain, painful shoulder), sports injuries, sprains, overloads, tendinopathies, degenerative pathology and post-surgical recovery. We also have specialists in pelvic floor, pregnancy, postpartum and advanced techniques such as Indiba, dry needling, radiofrequency and neuromodulation.
Our approach is global: we analyze not only the area of pain, but how your body moves, what habits influence it and what you need to strengthen or change for a stable and lasting recovery.
What is the first physical therapy session like and what should I bring?
In the first session we conduct a detailed interview to know your reason for consultation, history and objectives. Then we make a complete physical assessment adapted to your case. We explain clearly what happens, what factors influence and what will be the most effective treatment plan.
We usually start the treatment in the same session, combining manual therapy, exercise and home recommendations. We recommend you bring comfortable clothes and medical reports or imaging tests if you have them.
